Dejaré el título para el final es una obra que pone la mirada en el lugar que ocupa el dramaturgo dentro del complejo mundo de relaciones e intereses de la creación y representación de una obra teatral. A mitad de camino entre la comedia, la espontaneidad y un excesivo repertorio de personajes que se extiende más allá del escenario, plantea el viaje de una obra dentro de sí misma, durante su propia construcción y su intento por ser representada. Dejaré el título para el final es una obra escrita para ser leída y para ser representada. Sus referencias a la actualidad del mundo del teatro, al eterno problema del difícil encaje del papel que interpreta cada uno de los profesionales y, en definitiva, a la obra dramática como un arte que requiere de los soportes de las editoriales, las ayudas económicas, la colaboración de entidades, de actores y técnicos y un esfuerzo colectivo para sacarlas adelante. El teatro explicándose a sí mismo como arte multifacético.
Dejaré el título para el final is a play that turns its gaze toward the role of the playwright within the complex web of relationships and interests that shape the creation and staging of a theatrical work. Halfway between comedy and spontaneity—with an overflowing cast of characters that stretches beyond the stage—it traces the journey of a play within itself, during its own construction and its struggle to be brought to life. This is a work written both to be read and to be performed. It makes references to the current state of the theater world, the perennial difficulties of fitting each professional into their role, and ultimately to drama as an art form that depends on publishing houses, funding support, institutions, actors, technicians, and a collective effort to bring it into existence. It is theater explaining itself as a multifaceted art form.

La obra ahonda en la posición que ocupa el dramaturgo contemporáneo en el mundo del teatro. Para ello, desde un enfoque metaliterario, presenta a un hombre que está terminando de escribir una obra, que él mismo considera muy avanzada a su tiempo, y vive desesperado por intentar convencer a editores, críticos y directores de que merece la pena ser publicada y representada. Entre lo cómico y lo desquiciante hace de la propia representación un alegato y, al mismo tiempo, una crítica a los valores del arte contemporáneo, de su comercialización y la (frustración ante la) importancia de las relaciones personales en la consecución del éxito profesional.
The play delves into the position of the contemporary playwright within the theater world. From a self-referential, meta-literary perspective, it presents a man finishing a script he believes to be far ahead of its time. Desperate to convince publishers, critics, and directors that it deserves to be published and staged, he navigates a series of absurd and often comic obstacles. Between humor and frustration, the play becomes both a defense of and a critique of the values of contemporary art—its commodification, and the (often disheartening) importance of personal connections in achieving professional success. The act of performance itself becomes a reflection on these tensions.

Biografía. / Biography.
Alejandro López Pomares (Orihuela, 1983) es un dramaturgo, novelista y poeta. Licenciado en Antropología Social y Cultural, ha publicado la obra de teatro experimental breve 'La edad del sol' (Crisopeya. Revista de Arte y Literatura, Colombia, 2022) y 'Dejaré el título para el final' (Calblanque press, editorial Balduque, 2025). Es editor y redactor de la revista literaria digital 'La ninfa Eco' y colaborador del podcast 'Susurros de la Ninfa Eco'. Ha publicado también la novela 'La mirada perdida' (Celesta, 2017) y los poemarios 'La soledad tras el ruido de fondo' (Ars Poetica, 2019) y 'Fue voraz' (OléLibros, 2023).
Alejandro López Pomares (Orihuela, 1983) is a playwright, novelist, and poet. He holds a degree in Social and Cultural Anthropology and has published the short experimental play La edad del sol (Crisopeya. Revista de Arte y Literatura, Colombia, 2022) and Dejaré el título para el final (Calblanque Press, Editorial Balduque, 2025). He is an editor and writer for the digital literary magazine La ninfa Eco and a contributor to the podcast Susurros de la Ninfa Eco. His published works also include the novel La mirada perdida (Celesta, 2017) and the poetry collections La soledad tras el ruido de fondo (Ars Poetica, 2019) and Fue voraz (OléLibros, 2023).
