Marco Magoa es actor, director, dramaturgo y productor teatral de amplia trayectoria internacional. Estudió interpretación en el Instituto del Teatro y las Artes Escénicas en Gijón, completando su formación en Europa, EEUU, África y Oriente Medio. En 2007 crea su compañía teatro4m. Habla castellano, inglés y árabe lo que le ha permitido dirigir y presentar en estos idiomas más de veinte espectáculos, en muchos casos textos suyos, en países como EEUU, Reino Unido, Dinamarca, Namibia, Túnez, Egipto, Marruecos, Jordania y España con el apoyo de embajadas, universidades y relevantes instituciones internacionales. Ha sido recibido en dos ocasiones, como artista invitado, por la Universidad de Idaho para impartir cursos de interpretación y escritura creativa en distintos departamentos, dar conferencias y presentar dos espectáculos teatrales. Su trabajo ha sido motivo de análisis y estudio en publicaciones de universidades de varios países.

Marco Magoa is an actor, theatre director, playwright and producer with vast international experience. He studied acting at the Instituto del Teatro y las Artes Escénicas in Gijón, Spain and completed his studies in Europe, USA, Africa and the Middle East. In 2007 he founded the theatre company teatro4m. Marco Magoa speaks Spanish, English and Arabic which has allowed him to direct and present, in these languages, more than twenty performances. In most of these cases he used his own texts in such countries as Denmark, the United Kingdom, the United States, Namibia, Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, Jordan and Spain. And with the support of embassies, universities and relevant international institutions. Marco Magoa has written the following plays: “Right Where the Soul Breaks”, a trilogy about the war in Syria and the human tragedy occurring at the Mediterranean Sea (“El cielo y yo / The sky and I”, “Nada / Nothing” and “Mare Nostrum. Finis Somnia Vestra”), as well as “El viajero”, “Tus montes, mis versos”, “Sex(he)xagon” and “On the Way to the Sawmill (A Hikikomori's Space)”. On two occasions Marco Magoa has visited the University of Idaho as a Guest Artist where he gave lectures and courses on Acting and Creative Writing and presented two performances. The work of this international artist has been included in publications of several universities around the world.

ماركو ماغوا هو ممثل، مخرج، كاتب مسرحي ومنتج له خبرة دولية واسعة. درس التمثيل في معهد الفنون المسرحية والتمثيلية في خيخون. و هو بصدد استكمال تكوينه في كل من أوروبا،الولايات المتحدة، إفريقيا والشرق الأوسط. في عام 2007 كان قد أنشأ ورشته المسرحية تحت اسم teatro4m. علاوة على الإسبانية لغته الأم يتكلم ماغوا الإنجليزية والعربية مما سمح له بتوجيه وتقديم أكثر من عشرين عرضًا بهذه اللغات في العديد من الدول مثل الولايات المتحدة، المملكة المتحدة، الدنمارك، ناميبيا، تونس، مصر، المغرب والأردن وإسبانيا بدعم من السفارات، الجامعات والمؤسسات الدولية ذات الصلة. في العديد من الحالات كانت الأعمال من نصوصه حيث كان قد كتب العروض المسرحية التالية: "اللحظة التي تكسر فيها الروح" Justo donde se rompe el alma ، ثلاثية عن الحرب في سوريا ودراما البحر الأبيض المتوسط ,("أنا و السماء" El cielo y yo ، "لا شيء" Nada و بحرنا نهاية أحلامك MARE NOSTRUM. FINIS SOMNIA VESTRA) ، "الراحلة" El viajero ، "جبالك، أشعاري " Tus montes, mis versos، التعددية الجنسية "SEX (HE) XAGON" و "طريق المنشرة (فضاء الهيكيكوموري)" Camino del aserradero -Espacio de un hikikomori حل مرتين كفنان ضيف على جامعة أيداهو لتقديم دروس في التمثيل والكتابة الإبداعية في أقسام مختلفة، إضافة إلى إلقاء محاضرات، وتقديم عرضين مسرحيين. و لقد كانت أعماله موضوع تحليل ودراسة في منشورات جامعية في مختلف البلدان. في عام 2017، منحه المُنتدى الثقافي العربي الإسباني الميدالية الذهبية تكريما لمسيرته المهنية.

Escritura. / Style / الكتابة

«En mis textos hay un esfuerzo por hablar sobre “el hoy”, sobre el momento que nos ha tocado vivir, que es una necesidad para entender qué es esto de la vida... Ha influido en mi trabajo, sin duda, mi experiencia personal viviendo y trabajando alrededor del mundo; con más intensidad en países del mundo árabe. La censura, el amor, la muerte, el sexo, los derechos humanos, las guerras, los oprimidos, los deseos de libertad, las ansias del ser humano por conocerse a través de los demás, son temas recurrentes en mi escritura que intento que se presente desde un lenguaje poético, conmovedor y violento, con un tono épico contemporáneo que se alimenta de mi admiración por los clásicos. Mi trabajo con artistas de cuatro continentes, también con refugiados en Oriente Medio y otras partes del mundo, con mujeres emprendedoras, con huérfanos de las guerras, mi vida en Egipto antes, durante y después de la revolución, la crisis económica, lo común en la esencia del hombre; sus pulsiones, su lucha contra sí mismo, sus miserias, contradicciones y anhelos son una constante en mis obras y lo que define este tan particular camino mío como creador alimentándome de tantas culturas; de los otros.» (Marco Magoa).

«In my plays there is a special interest in talking about our present, about the moment we are meant to live. This is a necessity for me in order to understand what this is all about... this life today. Living and working around the world, especially in the Arab world, has certainly influenced my work and my personal experience. Censorship and love, sex and death, human rights, wars, oppressed people, the perpetual search for freedom and the human being's desire to comprehend himself are recurrent ideas in my writing. I try to present my plays with a poetic language that is touching but also violent, epic and contemporary... a tone that comes from my admiration of the classics. My work with young artists from four continents, with refugees from the Middle East and other parts of the world and also with women entrepreneurs, orphans from different wars and my own life in Egypt before, during and after the revolution plus the economic crisis..., all that is common in the essence of mankind; his impulses, his fight against himself, his miseries and contradictions and desires have a constance presence in my plays and defines this unique trajectory of mine as a “theatre artist” observing and learning from so many cultures.» (Marco Magoa).

هناك في نصوصي ، محاولة للحديث عن "الحاضر"، عن الزمن الراهن الذي نعيشه، حيث يعتبر تناول الحاضر ضرورة لفهم كنه هذه الحياة ... لقد أثرت تجربتي الشخصية عيشا وعملا في العديد من بقاع العالم بدون أدنى شك في أعمالي، و لقد كان تأثير العالم العربي طاغيا. الرقابة، الحب، الموت، الجنس، حقوق الإنسان، الحروب، المظلومين، الرغبة في الحرية و رغبة الإنسان في التعرف على ذاته من خلال الآخرين هي مواضيع متكررة في كتاباتي أحاول أن أقدمها من خلال لغة شعرية مؤثرة وعنيفة ، بنبرة ملحمية معاصرة تتغذى على إعجابي بالكلاسيكيين. إن عملي مع فنانين شبان من أربع قارات ، وكذلك مع اللاجئين في الشرق الأوسط وبقاع أخرى من العالم ، مع نساء رياديات ، مع أيتام الحروب ، والعيش في مصر قبل وأثناء وبعد الثورة، الأزمة الاقتصادية و كيان الإنسان و ما يخالجه من معاركه ضد نفسه ، غرائزه ، بؤسه وتناقضاته وطموحاته تعد كلها من الثوابت في أعمالي.و ما جعل من مساري الفني فريدا هو كوني أتغذى على العديد من الثقافات ... أتغذى بالآخر. ماركو ماغوا
