Sinopsis. / Synopsis.

En Memoria o Desierto tres hermanas se reúnen en el entierro de su padre. No las separa únicamente la distancia de sus respectivos lugares de residencia, también algunos hechos pasados las mantiene en una continua tensión que las ha llevado a una desunión que no deja satisfecha a ninguna de ellas. Sin embargo, una información inesperada, un secreto sepultado en el tiempo, irrumpirá, de manera abrupta y descarnada en la vida de estas mujeres. Tres supervivientes emocionales que superaron la falta del cariño materno, debido a la muerte de la madre cuando eran pequeñas.

In Memory or Desert, three sisters gather at their father's funeral. What separates them is not only the distance of their respective homes, but also some past events that have kept them in a constant tension, leading to a disunity that leaves none of them satisfied. However, an unexpected piece of information, a secret buried in time, will abruptly and brutally interrupt the lives of these women. Three emotional survivors who overcame the lack of maternal love due to their mother's death when they were little.

Biografía. / Biography.

Dramaturgo, director, actor y músico. Empezó su trayectoria artística muy joven, con su banda de rock A Media Distancia, hasta que sus estudios de interpretación con el maestro Carlos Lasarte le encaminaron hacia el mundo del teatro (donde se crió ya que su padre, Ignacio Vidal, fue un importante empresario teatral). Trabajará en el cine y en televisión, pero es en el teatro y, concretamente, en el Musical donde desarrolla gran parte de su carrera: Los Miserables, Rent, Jesucristo Superstar, Spamalot o La Bella y la Bestia son algunos de los musicales donde ha actuado. Es miembro fundador de la productora teatral La Sarda Produce. Actualmente dedica todo su tiempo a su pasión, la dramaturgia, alternándolo con trabajos de dirección escénica.

Ignasi Vidal is a playwright, director, actor, and musician. He began his artistic career at a young age with his rock band A Media Distancia, before his studies in acting with Carlos Lasarte led him to the world of theater, where he was raised, as his father, Ignacio Vidal, was an important theater entrepreneur. He has worked in film and television but has focused much of his career on theater, particularly in musicals such as Les Misérables, Rent, Jesus Christ Superstar, Spamalot, and Beauty and the Beast. He is a founding member of the theater production company La Sarda Produce. Currently, he dedicates all his time to his passion for dramaturgy, alternating with stage direction work.

Ignasi escribe, como él dice, no para hacer sentir bien a la gente, ni siquiera para sentirse bien él. Escribe movilizado por una inquietud y deja que los personajes tengan su propio discurso tal y como ocurre en la vida.

Ignasi's approach to writing reflects a deep commitment to truthfulness, allowing his characters to speak for themselves without trying to shape their voices for comfort or appeasement. His work is driven by a genuine sense of unrest, making his plays resonate with authenticity.
